Is It Right To Put A Red Tape Over A Broken Tail-Light?

Tail-lights are vehicle rear lights often red in colour which are activate when the front headlights are turned on. These lights sometimes get broken or damaged. It may make reasonable sense to use a red tape to cover it. But there is one major safety issue to consider.

Doing this could reduce your visibility at night or rain to oncoming vehicles from the rear. Though not advisable, it could serve as a temporary measure in emergency cases. Immediate replacement will be required as soon as possible. You can check HERE to get new tail-lights for your car.
