Toyota corolla is increasingly becoming a popular sedan among Nigerians today. Most common is the 2003 to 2006 Toyota corolla because of it’s excellent maintenance and fuel economy. But given so, like every other car, it has it’s issues among which is transmission problems. In such a case, don’t be in a haste to replace the entire transmission when your corolla does not engage into driving gear. There are areas to look into first.
After diagnosing for causes and it comes up with the DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) P1760 this means you have a faulty solenoid or solenoids. The video below explains how to locate these solenoids in the transmission box and replace it.
