Buying take out food is one thing, keeping it warm is another thing. In some cases you may not have the means of warming your food, but not to worry, there’s a trick your car have to help you get this done.
Some vehicles come with car seat warmers, which heat up the seat with the push of a button. Normally the buttons are located on the side of the driver and passenger door. In some vehicles, just the bottom of the seat warms up, where in others both the bottom and back warm up. But it can do so much more than that, they also make a great warming zone for your take away meal.
Just place and properly secure your food on the car seat, turn on the seat warmer and the food will remain hot all the way to your destination. Why would you use a micro wave oven when you have such facility in your car.
If your car doesn’t have seat heaters then you have some other options. If it’s hot outside, put the food in your trunk. It’ll stay warmer there than inside your car (where you’re trying to keep cool with the A/C).
If you do takeout a lot, consider buying a cooler/warmer that plugs into your cigarette lighter socket. Some vehicles even have these coolers/warmers built in.
