Driving in Nigeria can be very challenging, especially in major urban cities of the country. Lagos is one of the most problematic. Most Nigerians are ignorant of traffic laws because of the way the society is configured which is lack of interest of the authorities to give detailed orientation to learning and existing drivers alike. The road network is another challenge faced by Nigerian drivers. The state of most Nigeria roads are in a dire state, either because there are no appropriate signage at important junctions, roads and streets but also the roads are bad. In such cases it’s left for us as Nigerians to enlighten ourselves with traffic laws, so that we can know what we should do and not do under Nigerian traffic law.
